We saw one of these in Austin yesterday, tooling along up MoPac. Never seen one before. According to Wiki: 6.2 Liter, GM E-ROD, V8 Engine, 430 Horsepower at 5,900 rpm; 424 lb-ft at 4,600 rpm. And an automatic transmission?

I saw one in the IMS infield a few years back. And a manual would add very little to a car like this. There is a reason that trophy trucks don’t have manuals, or even DCTs. Offroading with a manual is legitimately not very fun.

A 3 speed no less. I want to see a Rally fighter go up against a Nomad cross country.

I saw an orange one in Miami on 95 last year. Makes me still want one.

It did look intriguing. I wonder about the guy driving it, and whether or not it was his DD.

I only saw it once, and I was on 95 fairly regularly. It probably was here for a show or photoshoot.

I didn’t see the one pictured. It was a plain gray one. But I drive the road often, and have never seen it before.

Maybe they took it for a test drive before painting it. They may have just finished the kit.

One of my top 5 vehicles. You build it yourself at their factory! They’ll put any GM engine/transmission combo you want.
There’s a video on YouTube of one of these at a Baja style race doing a front flip and keeping on trucking .

Neat. I’d never heard of it before we saw one.

So much want. I drive past the Local Motors garage outside of Phoenix probably once a week and the lust is real.

You can see all the cars in Austin. There is a ton of money in this town.

I see a Tesla just about every day now.

A Model S everyday easily.
